For the expansion of our subsidiary in Indonesia we are looking for the following professional profile:

Product Specialist

Job description:

1. Location: Jakarta
2. Provide comprehensive technical support, solution proposals, and consultancy services to customers throughout Indonesia.
3. Assist customers in selecting the most suitable products and solutions for their applications, ensuring their needs are consistently met.
4. Design pneumatic and electro-pneumatic circuits, including mechanical design for customized solutions in collaboration with customers.
5. Deliver training sessions, product demonstrations, and technical presentations both internally and externally.
6. Lead pre-sales design activities and propose both standard and customized solutions involving pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
7. Actively contribute to new product and solution development, extending beyond pneumatics to include electrical and process industry applications.
8. Support the operations and administration team by monitoring inventory trends and identifying customer targets for fast-, medium-, and slow-moving products.
9. Collaborate with the sales team to provide project input, enhance customer service, and support revenue growth.
10. Manage, monitor, and report customer product complaints, offering timely and effective solutions.
11. Document successful applications as part of the company’s technical archive.
12. Work closely with the Product Manager and Service Team on product updates and troubleshooting.
13. Promote assigned products and support business development.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering from a reputable university.
• Prior experience in a product specialist role, particularly in industrial or pneumatic components and automation, is a strong advantage. Fresh graduates with strong potential are also encouraged to apply.
• In-depth product knowledge of cylinders/actuators, valves, fittings, and FRLs is preferred.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English, especially for technical communication with international headquarters.
• Familiarity with industrial automation applications, ideally within CPG sectors such as Food & Beverage, HPC, Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals, Textiles, and Water Treatment.
• Strong problem-solving initiative, self-motivated, and comfortable working under pressure in customer environments.
• Effective communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of project management, factory automation, and process automation is a plus.
• Technically adept, with experience using tools such as PLCs, CAD software, electrical actuators, and process valves. Ability to adapt to company-specific sales and technical tools is essential.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive work ethic.
