A LOOK INSIDE by Cinzia Bevilacqua and Alessandro Montanari
EXHIBITION - SAREZZO
A look inside exhibition was born from the desire to give voice, through paintings and photographs, to men and women with a more or less serious physical and mental disability, who despite experiencing their problems try to find their own dimension.
The exhibition finds greater significance also because it coincides with the fortieth year of law 180, the BASAGLIA law for the abolition of asylums in Italy. Photographer and Painter work in synchrony on this project, using two different tools / means of expression with the common purpose of moving the viewer. Painting and Photography have the ability to interpret in a different way what they see: there is therefore no competition between these two means of expression, but collaboration and symbiosis, to return to the viewer the whole world that is hidden behind a simple glance.
