After implementing the Quality System in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001 and the Environmental Management System according to UNI EN ISO 14001, METAL WORK S.p.A. has decided to set up an Occupational Health and Safety Management System in application of OHSAS 18001.
Company Management is committed to promoting actions to guarantee the correct management of all company processes that affect aspects of occupational health and safety.
This involves the following strategic actions:
- full compliance with laws and regulations
- ongoing efforts to reduce all negative phenomena associated with occupational health and safety
- ongoing efforts to improve health and safety in the workplace
- constant monitoring of aspects connected with health and safety in the workplace
- company-wide training to ensure the adoption of a health and safety culture.
Company management is fully committed to ensuring that the entire workforce is directly involved in pursuing this strategic approach.
Certification of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System is a single, though significant, step in pursuing continuous improvement.
