Lean Account in Metal Work
“Lean Accounting at Metal Work” is a project being launched in 2010 to set up a lean accounting system to flank and subsequently replace the traditional standard costs system.
The first step in this innovative project is to make a clear definition of the targets and train those involved. In our case we started with a session introducing lean enterprise based on a practical simulation of how it works, followed by an introduction to the tools and principles of lean accounting.
During the training session we also started to define the model to be adopted.
After making an initial analysis of company processes and identifying value streams, we built up the “box score” flow by flow, the heart of the new control system in the cylinder department. The box score is a system of economic/financial and performance indicators allowing control of the performance of the value stream.
It is important to point out that the measurements concern the entire value stream, not individual products, and the purpose is to highlight the advantages of lean interventions, which must enable the company to do more and better with fewer resources and boost growth.
What has to be controlled are the three traditional benchmarks of Costs, Quality and Times.

Establishing of Metal Work Svitzerland
To the latter is given the task to push the development of our brand on the Swiss market. Currently the company is located in Langfeldstrasse 88 - 8500 Frauenfeld - Switzerland.
The Managing Director of the Swiss branch is Mr. Albert Dell'Oca, who - together with a team of salesmen and technicians - will offer to our customers the necessary pre- and post-sales assistance.

3D electronic catalogue
Metal Work, in collaboration with CADENAS, realized the 3D catalogue of its own parts and it was published on the web.
It is a library of Metal Work parts, exportable in every CAD file format (Neutral and Native formats).

In fact, each month the market got informed about the launch of a new product or a company activity.
