Two new subsidiaries in Poland and Finland has been established : we wish all the best for a strong and healthy growth! Austria Alfa Meccanica In 2001 Metal Work acquired the majority stake in Alfa Meccanica in Treviolo, a company manufacturing components for the automation industry. Alfa Meccanica will contribute to the group its specific expertise in products for the Handling sector and flexibility typical of a young dynamic company. This will naturally increase our ability to come up with special products to meet customers’ specific requirements. With Metal Work, technology at the service of art Those who really get to grips with tecnology and the future, appreciate the values of the past, expecially those pratically eternal ones bound to man and his greatest expression. Thi is why Metal Work likes to partecipate in creating and caring for architectural and artistic works in general , always of a high value. The fountain in "Piazza Vescovado",in Brescia is a clear example of this: Metal Work wanted to offer a gift to history, local people and the future by restoring this work to its former splendor. Certifications 2001 The audit session carried out by Dekra for the renewal of the ISO 9001: ED 2000 certificate for Metal Work and the member companies was successfully completed on Friday 26th October 2001. It was decided during the audit to adapt the Quality Management System to VISION 2000, the latest revision of this standard.
