Technical Sales Engineer in Klang, Selangor

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned key customers, driving growth in sales and market share within the designated territory.
2. Identify and establish new business opportunities, expanding the customer base in line with company objectives.
3. Conduct regular visits and meetings with prospective customers, ensuring prompt and effective support throughout the sales process.
4. Prepare detailed reports, analyze sales quotations, and propose strategic action plans to increase market penetration.
5. Provide accurate inventory forecasts aligned with customer requirements to ensure optimal supply chain planning.
6. Offer pre-sales technical consultation, basic product training, and after-sales support to help customers achieve their operational goals.
7. Deliver product presentations and demonstrations, effectively communicating technical features and benefits.
8. Collect and report customer feedback (Voice of Customer) and market trends to management, contributing to continuous improvement and product development.
9. Identify and develop business opportunities with machine manufacturers, end users, resellers, and dealers.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Certificate, Diploma, or Degree (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Prior experience in pneumatics, factory automation, or dealer/distributor management is a plus.
• Strong command of spoken and written English and/or Malay.
• Self-motivated, independent, and results-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to plan sales visits with clear sales objectives.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Klang Valley to support customer needs.
• Opportunity to expand responsibilities beyond Klang Valley based on individual performance.
